Story of Theseus..
Theseus, a hero of Greek mythology, is best known for slaying a monster called the Minotaur, but the story of Theseus starts much earlier than this.
King Aegeus of Athens, who had stopped at Troezen, bed Theseus's mother Aethra daughter of the king of Troezen who fell pregnant. Before leaving for Athens King Aegeus placed his sandals and sword under a large boulder that no man could move and told Aethra that if she bore a son who could lift the boulder, that son would inherit the throne of Athens.
Theseus grew into a strong young man and when he came of age on his 16th birthday easily lifted the boulder, retrieved the sandals and sword and set off for Athens to claim his heritage.
And so the hero known as Theseus was born......
